Wise Up Plus w/ Glyphosate Herbicide

Greetings!

I bought a 2 1/2 gallon container of Wise Up Plus to use in my Mule mounted sprayer for fence line, weeds in the driveway etc.. It arrived today and oh my goodness, the instructions are many, many pages long. Very specific instructions for about every crop I ever heard of.... but not really a mention of a mixture ratio for just basic here and there weed and grass control. Most ratios mentioned are based on acerage covered.

Anyone familiar with this product? Can you recomend a ratio to mix in my 17 gallon spray tank for spot spraying?

Thanks, Lloyd

If it's 4lb active per gallon product (it will say on the label), a 1 to 1.5% mix will kill everything but trees and waxy vines. So, put around 25oz to 32oz and you will be fine. Use the stronger percentage for perennial grasses and mature weeds. No matter what anyone says, don't use soap as a surfactant. Glyphosate needs a non-ionic surfactant, not anionic (soap). It is much cheaper than soap (by volume) and way more effective.

I use a quart per 15 gallons in my spot sprayer. Just FYI the typical rate of GLY is a quart per acre, so that will sorta give you a rough idea of how much to spray the weeds down with. Take Care
