Some time back ,someone suggested a sealer that works, If I remeber right it was a common kitchen item like a fod ,ie , curry powder or something finely ground mixed in with the coolant ,Hope I am not too bubble off level but replies are appreciated.

Get some "Silver Seal". Price is right $2 per container, and one container is enough for a 5 to 7 gallon cooling system. It will stop the leak and last until you drain and flush the system.
 
Silver Seal is very good,and you will appreciate where it is manufactured.

I used black pepper once, must have put in too much, blocked it, engine boiled, removed the Radiator cap and, whoosh great noises. good from then on.

Yes, no Chinese junk. Silver Seal is made right here in the good ol' USA. Des Moines, Iowa to be exact.
