transmission draging

Have a 310B Case with a shuttle shift. For some reason it won"t pull itself down the road in high gear. Almost like brakes are hanging up but they are not. Took shifting tower off and the gears from there on back turn freely. Transmission gets so I can"t touch it. Really hot. Anybody know what could be causing this problem? All other gears work fine.

If it has one check the transmission filter and replace or clean it. Sounds like low fluid flow and or the torque convertor going bad. Yep one of the draw backs of the shuttle shifter tractors they have torque convertors like automatic transmissions cars and truck

So looks I need to find someone to split tractor and find out whats going on. I can't believe it just started doing it all at once.

Hold on before you jump to the big $$ stuff check the small stuff first. Could be a simple clogged up filter or low on fluid or both
