Yesterday, on Father"s day, I took the Pony out of the shed and cleaned it up. My Father had wanted one for years and was going to restore it, He got ill and so I took it on while he was in the nursing home, hoping to get it done for him. He passed before it was completed, but saw pictures as it was being worked on.
Here"s to you Dad. Hope you like the finished product

Great job, and so sorry you missed the time with Dad on it. I do everything tractor related with my Father, I have been very fortunate in that I have spent tons of time with him in this great hobby, he is still young and very active so we have lots of time doing tractors together yet, but I cannot even think about when he is not here! Not gonna be a pretty time for me!

I'm sure he is smiling down on you .
I would bet he may like you to show that work at shows in his memory.
By the way, Great job !!

very nice! As I was hoeing my garden,I had plenty of time to think about my dad, Hes not with us anymore, wish I could tell him thank you,I should have done it in the past ,

Nice Job & Nice looking little tractor, I really
like the added John Deere Step!

Nice job, he taught you well. This was my first fathers day with no dad but I'm not complaining. I am thankful for the sixty years I had him around which is longer than most people get. He was buried on his 92 birthday last Feburary.

I figured someone would notice it. I had restored his John Deere B a few years ago and thought the step would work great on this little Pony. Here's a picture of Dad on it.
