I posted some images over on the John Deere board. I saw where someone asked about the Larhrop Mo show on this board earlier last week.

Lathrop Mo show

Nice pics there Would you mind if I would post them on another site?
I have been to some of their steam shows and plow days. it is great to see what others have to show. - I won't do it if you wish

I have never seen a self propelled baler in my travels interesting , And that black vehicle to the left of that Cub Cadet looked like it may be interesting

No problem, post all you want, I figure once they are on the internet, they are public domain. I've used images that I didn't take
like this Rushton Hornsby image of a world war 1 airplane that they built for the war, they normally built hit and miss engines during peace time. This is the 1,000 or something like that

That plane must have been built for flying backwards. Is the propeller pitched backwards or is my eyesight bad? Maybe the photo negative is backwards.

Very nice.....You sure have a lot of patience to post all those pics one at a time like that. Thanks for doin it though. Ever thought about dumping them in photobucket and just posting a link? Or am I just lazy....

Thanks, Dave

No it's a tractor prop (as opposed to a pusher prop-tractor no pun intended)The plane is probably a Sopwith Camel being built by other builders as Sopwith didn't have facilities to fill government orders in time.

Here's a link to a video that will show that propeller for a half second in the same position as in that photo. I saw a single propeller blade the other day as I was on my way to the show. It was on a very long special built trailer and was one of three that went on a very large wind generator. I had seen a full set of three packed on one trailer but not just one as it was a trailer load all by itself.
Last flying Sopwith Camel
