Anybody use these?

Anybody here use these? Wondering if they are worth the $160.00 Agri Supply wants for a set.

Sure would like a easier way to deal with my 3 point implements.

What kind of stuff are you dealing with??? CatI or II? Most every tractor over 40-50 HP over here has them. For my little bit of stuff, I like the quickhitch I got from harborfreight for 69 bucks (CatI, think the CatII is 99).

Hi Dave!

John Deere 4510 utility tractor, 40 hp 4wd. Cat 1. Use a 7' box blade, 7' pulveriser, bushog, trailer hitch for moving my trailers around and a small log splitter.

Sure am tired of wrestling with those things getting them lined up.

Got a set of those on my 9700... the only thing that would make them better is the little things that look like funnels that pin onto the end of the lift pins. Haven't been able to find them lately...anybody know where to get them? Fritz

I have seen these in the catalogs and never figured they would be worth much. every tractor with 3pt I own has one similiar to what Dave2 posted.

The style you show is plagued with arms that are not rigid to the width of the implement.

I Had a set. May still be in the shop. I didn't like them. I went to a quick hitch. They helped with hook up a little but not as much as you would think. There is a rod to hold the arms at the right distance and it would not stay in place.

Have tham on my 471 Massey Ferguson. Best thing I have bought in a long time. My 7 foot bush hog does not have the bolted hitch pin, instead it has a bushing, spacer, and pin between two vertical metal plates. Getting the tractor lift arm, the spacer, the bushing to line up and drive the pin into it was impossible. The quick hitch attachment solved that problem. Still have to hook up the top link but that is do big deal. Oh, these things add about 3 inches to the lower lift arms, so you might need to get a longer top link.

Pats quick hitch I believe are a bit better quality made in the US for about the same price. If you have extendable links now they can make them to fit in place so the hitch doesn't get longer.

Thanks for the link, Dave.

I've never seen any of those before, but I can see them coming in really handy on some of my heavier implements.
I hope some place carries them over here. If I can't find any, I may be able to make something like it. Although it won't be near as purty.

I think something was lost in the Google translation of German to English on the name of the part.
The name of the part translated to English is; "Among handlebar-catch Profile".
