Should I feel guilty???

Hey folks,
kinda stuck a little here. Was kinda loosely looking for a wagon but since I already have one, was looking for one that dumps. Neighbor has one that needs some work so I asked him for it. Said he'd think about it. Few days later another neighbor comes and tells me he has a good wagon I can have for free. Look at it and it is in very good shape, but has a mostly wooden running gear and doesn't dump. Told him what I wanted and he has been hounding me ever since to come get the wagon. He keeps it inside, if I get it, it will be stored outside and be shot in just a few years because of the moisture. He won't take no for an answer.

Finally will pick it up today but will take pics and put it on ebay.

Like to hear what, if anything, you folks would give the guy when it sells (few bucks, ?%, etc)

Thanks, Dave

I would keep something like 10% plus costs and give him the rest. But an easier way to do it would be to nose around a little and see if you can find a non-profit that he supports, that you could give the money to in his name. Then you could keep costs only, and donate the rest, and everyone comes out loving everyone else. In addition you get major credits towards finally graduating from people skills school.

If he is pushing it on you. Then a 50-50 split is more than fair. The 10% Plus your cost is also a good estimate if you put a $$ amount on your time and hastle factor.

If it would sell for $800.00 I would even say $100.00 would be more than fair.

I think your right in considering something to him. If you sell right away and he knows you did it could affect neighborhood harmony.
