I have windows xp and I'm trying to learn how to print the screen just as you are looking at it,not as pg 1 then pg 2 etc. There has to be a way so when somebody puts the tip up here I can just print it as I see it on the screen. Seems like it was alt and something or ctrl and something. Thanks for the help

Print screen. This puts the screen in memory.

Then go into your favorite image editor and 'paste as new image'.

I have a key with Prt Scr and you would need to press the Ctrl key too. This is on the Keyboard.

Print Screen takes a shot of the entire desktop/screen. Alt + Print Screen does only the active window. Then open a text editor such as Word or whatever you use, right click and paste.

My print screen button doesnt work anymore for somereason. So i use MWSnapp prograhm. Easy to use.
