The Wonders of Craigslist

I've seen pictures over the years on CL that were taken of the piece of equipment earlier in its life when it wasn't quite as beat up, or maybe some folks showcasing their photo-shop skills, but not sure I've ever seen this.

I'm surprised the box from Ertl isn't in the background.
REALLY Nice looking Cub

Look closely at the picture and you can see a website url. If a guy could enkarge that photo, he could probably read the website address, and then you could nail that seller for copyright infringement.

While it may be an attempt to sell a model for full scale price I imagine he is only showing non-tractor folk an example of what the cub looks like.

Give him a call to call his bluff.

I sent an email and was told it was a full size tractor. The email account was listed to a tammy streeter.

He should have added "Representative Photo" like some of the big dealers do in the Fastline and similar publications.

KEH

I put the picture thru the cleanup process at my Windows Live Photo Gallery but could not get a clear readable picture except that it is www.=========co.nz it looks like www.radialhouse co.nz but that means nothing,so? JH

i have noticed on c-list that scammers will take pictures from someones ad/web site that they have posted, and use it for a phony ad to get you to buy and send money via union/money grams. chances are that the phone could be legit, or some bogus number to send money to buy it.....i too agree, call their bluff to see the real thing....dounds to good to be ture, probably isn't.

.nz is a New Zealand website. I'm thinking this seller just found a picture on the net to show what a Cub looks like? And then was too lazy to put "Representative Photo". Either that or it's a scam.
