OT Fun of Raising Pigs

We have had these 3 pigs for over a month they are about 100 pounds. The pigs names are HAM BACON and EVIL DR PORKCHOP. All from toy story the movie. Scotty

Wife and I had a couple weaner pigs when we first got married. She was a city girl, so said we'd better stop at the farm store and get a feeder before we take them home. I just smiled, and built one exactly like yours. She just thought I was so clever to have figured that out, and I didn't bother to tell her that people have been building that same model since the beginning of time. We had a good time raising Marv and Harv, and then we ate 'em.

Nice pics- and the boy has got the right idea about taming them down- you can do pretty much anything with a pig, as long as its got groceries in front of it.
 
i gotta ask, will a couple of pigs REALLY seal up a dry pond? i have one 75 or so yards from my house i'll like to put a couple ducks on, but it looks like it's been dry for YEARS, I'll have to take some big azz rocks out of it first.

It depends on the dirt layer you have, but yes it can help. Without enough clay, all is lost.
 
Nah, that there lightsaber really works, its for barbecuing them, a little at a time. (from the old joke) A pig this good, you don't eat all at once!
