Friend of mine is a cable guy, he's been having trouble with his work van today, seems the battery is bad. Watched him jump it with a 18v drill battery! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. 'Course the way he hooked up wires to jump it made me stand back a bit, but it worked!

Nothing suprises me on newer vehicles anyway. The stupidest problem wont let them start, & or run sometimes. My truck for example... 05 Chev duramax dsl. When the batteries get low the vehicle will start, it will run about 5 seconds, & then shut off. You cant even get to a store to get a new battery! JUST ONE OF THE WAYS "GM" TRIES TO MAKE MONEY AFTER THE SALE!!!

He just hooked up some wires (looked like maybe 12 ga.) to the terminals on the battery to the pins on the drill battery. I don't know if there's something that shows which pin is pos. or neg.
