Yep, pretty cool.....or unusual. In his post he says: "Ground pressure is under 10 psi.This thing will virtualy float."
And if you did somehow figure out how to stick it, you could put some cloth on the boom trusses and get them flapping hard enough to fly out! Hey, with a 60 foot wingspan, it should fly.
 
Mattrax are pretty cool, the snowmobile club just north of here has an old mini-Blazer setup with them for a trail drag. I dunno how well it does but its a sight more comfortable than some of the other groomers I've seen!
 
It"s for spraying herbicides, not doing tillage. Had too many years when it was too wet to get in, and weeds get ahead of crops. Same reason for aerial application in wet years.
 
I dont even know if youd would want to take it on the street to often, I bet those tracks are prettttty expensive
 
I've farmed for 40 years and never saw the need for one.Most herbicides are sprayed in advance of planting.How you going to spray corn with that?
