Will an International 2000 loader work on an 806 row crop? The loader is on a utility tractor and has a front mounted pump. Is it worth the trouble? The loader is listed in the implement ads 6/6. Thanks

What model utility tractor was it on? My recollection was that the 2000 loaders were on 50 HP class utilites, and your 806 would probably be too big.

Can't see exactly what it's on. Seems like I've seen a 2000 retro fitted on a bigger tractor, but not sure how much work is involved. You're probably right about the tractor being too big.

There is a whole lot more to a fully functional loader than just "will it fit". The loader needs to be able to mount on the tractor exactly where the tractor manufacturer intended for a loader to be mounted. This will ensure the weight of the loader, plus whatever you pick up with it, will be properly distributed on the frame and chassis of the tractor. A loader that is not installed in this fashion could cause serious damage to your tractor.

A neighbor put a loader off a 4000 ford utility onto a 5000 ford rowcrop . Some cutting here and welding there and it is on there but is very ackward and dont sit right . If a 2000 will fit a 806 they will be able to tell you at the dealer .The manuals I have had that I bought new came with a insert that showed the bracets for all the tractors it would fit . Had one for a 2000 but it is long gone . I have one for a QT 2250 and it gos up to a 706 but not the 806 if that means anything .

The 2000 loader in that picture will not transfer directly to an 806. If the subframe was lengthened and rear axle mounting was fabricated as factory design and front mounting brackets were found or built, also to factory design and measurements, then it could mount and perform as factory design intended. Hydraulics on that unit would need modification also. Lot of work and cost to modify it. Best place for that loader is on the tractor it is on now. Look for one that was on a 706 through 856 or get a loader built by one of many loader manufacturers.
