This is a heck of a tractor. You blow a 10 amp fuse and it WILL NOT move. This tractor belongs to a friend of mine. He spoke to the dealer. They said all of the problem they had seen was wire chaffing on the steering column around the reverser switch, WAS NOT there. Found the output side of the fuse that was blowing and started tracing the wire. Around the instrument panel, out the firewall bulkhead, down under the cab to the rear right side of the tractor . Then down the right side of the transmission to shift valves on the bottom of the trans. Cleaned all of the oil, dirt , mud and other thing from around these shift valves and the short cleared. I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS. Dealer said it would THREE to FOUR days to find the problem. I with the help of my friend found this in about 2 hours. Talked to him this morning. He said he baled hay with it until 1 PM last night with-out any problems. I have a background in electronic BUT I am beginning to think that when they put more wires than the one wire between the mag and the mag kill switch , there is TOO MUCH WIRING ON A FARM TRACTOR.
