I need some help locating some bolts. They are 1/2-13 13 inches long. I have tried to search the internet with google with no luck. I don't think all tread will work. The bolts hold 200 lbs of weight on each axle of our John Deere 2030. The weights are so close fitting that I don't all tread would work. Thank you for any and all help.

Not sure where you are, but Nebraska Iowa fastener in Omaha Nebraska would be my first look for something like that!

Well, if you are worried about strengh, most All thread is Grade 2 which has a yield strength of around 55-57,000 psi.
One 1/2 inch bolt has an cross section area of 0.7854 sq inches.
One piece of 1/2 inch all thread should hold 43,197 lbs before failure.
If you use mild steel all thread, that yield is 33,000 psi.
One piece would hold 25,918 lbs before failure.
Deere weights usually use 3 bolts so they would hold 38.9 tons.......using mild steel all thread.
Using a 4-1 safety factor... they would hold 9 tons of weights.
Your 200 lbs? A piece of cake.....

a 1/2 inch bolt has an area of .7854 wrong
a 1 inch bolt has an area of .7854
a 1/2 inch bolt has 25% of .7854 which is .19635 inches

Ever try your JD dealer?????? On bolts and bearings John Deere is not that bad on prices.

The JD part number is 08H4082 that is 1/2 x 13 inch long, coarse thread, Hex headed machine bolt. Grade 5.
Cost $6.25 each.

You should only need six or eight so the total is not that bad. Just think about the weights falling off at the wrong time.

Last time I needed it, I was able to buy all thread in a grade equal to grade5. (All thread has a different grading system).

Exactly. I needed some very similar bolts to hold the wheel weights on a Farmall H. I searched the internet, couldn't find them. Went to my local Case-IH dealer and not only did he have them, but he knew exactly what I needed them for.
