High schoolers drive tractors to school

We did something like this our senior year for homecoming in 2003. Only about 4 of us did it, doubt anyone would do it today at our school.

poke it here

i'm glad there are still schools that allow that, although we did bring pocket knifes and during deer and turkey season there were more guns in the parking lot than parked trucks, but that was before "no tollerance"

and the best shot was this ferd flying by with the black smoke roll'n out

One of my student/friends reports they drove their tractors to school here (Lakeview High school, Lakeview MI.), a couple weeks back....
Also did a drive thru at MCDonalds. Said they had a part of the parking lot partitioned off for tractors that day.
Hats off to the kids, Good goin" Guys.

7th & 8th grade I drove my WD every day! High School guys thought it was funny to rewire my spark plugs, it took about 30 sec. to wire it back. lol

Howdy,
We still have "Drive Your Tractor To School Day"
here in Clintonville Wi, known as Truck City USA.
Birthplace of the four wheel drive and been manufacturing fire fighting equipment for 100 years or so.

(quoted from post at 16:57:45 06/03/11) dont see why our school wont do it seeing how there is about 150 farms in a $10 mile raidias. i like that ford though.
s soon as I saw that Ford I thought that it was you! have you asked about doing it at your school?

In Columbus IN we do that every year for FFA. We alwyas do it in Jan of Feb though. Always freeze our butts off! unless you got a cab the it's ok

I drove tractors to school every year for FFA week at our high school before I graduated. Even caught heck with the vice principals and dean for it! LOL they thought all the tractors we had on campus for the week were from the local dealers. They didn"t get that people can actually own Deere 4960s and Case 7250s LOL. They all came from Seattle, go figure
