Had just just shy of 3" of rain this weekend. Every one north of me will be at a stand still for at least a week. I should be able to roll by Wed if the sun comes out. Was gonna switch to beans as planned corn acres are done, BUT, really considering grabbing some more corn bags and going on corn for a few more acres on the better soils, then get on to beans. I should be fine with 85 day. Just got a feeling that corn is gonna be a little short around here come fall. 100 acres left to plant into some thing, then i am done, and hopefully onto 1st crop hay soon.

Got my 97 day corn and peas in the ground before we got 4 3/10" of rain over the weekend. All i have left is 50 acres of 1.6 maturity beans and I will be done. Lot of corn left to plant in my neighborhood. I'm hoping Wednesday too. I heard they got 7" over in the Silver Lake Winstead area. Think that everything will be short this year. Seneca (green giant) Field rep said that a bunch of peas and sweet corn may not get planted this year.

No corn planted yet, called for fertilizer last Tuesday.Said nothing till Sat.Started raining Fri night.3" here in meeker county.

I'm over here in Michigan, but I made a whole lot better progress over the weekend than I ever dared hope I would. I got about a third of my corn in. That amounts to about three quarters of what I'm gonna pick,so most of what's left is silage corn. I was kicking myself all over the place Friday for even being in the field discing,as wet as it was,but by Saturday morning it was drying down pretty decent and I started planting. They were calling for a lot of rain Saturday night, but all it did was sprinkled. Got about half a tenth. So Sunday morning,I skipped the usual routine and started discing as soon as I got done with chores. Got everything to the field before dinner and started planting right after. By 7 o'clock,I'd hit about the third done mark.
We got 3/4s of an inch overnight and more predicted for the rest of the week, and there's water standing everywhere that isn't planted yet,but if the seed doesn't rot and the ground doesn't crust,I'm a whole lot better off right now than I expected to be.

ok- you know I"m a county west of you.....I wouldn"t go down to 85 day yet, 90 should still be ok for at least a week. 85 is just cutting potential yield. I"ve planted 85 day after first cutting alfalfa, after first week of June.

This is when its nice to be on light soil. I ran the soil finisher this afternoon. There were places that the four wheel drive would not go that I have never seen muddy in my 24 years of working the ground were on.

Nice part is that by Wednesday I bet it will be ready to go again.

I'm in Nicollet county. My Corn all in and all up already. 3/4ths of the beans planted. 2and 1/4 rain over weekend so maybe wds or thurs finish up. Retired brother in law did all the tillage or I would not be sitting near this good.

SWMN- not much small grain was planted, most guys are 75% done with corn, very little soybeans in yet, 2 1/2" of rain this weekend

Corn in, 75% is spiking ot better - the one tiny field I planted the day after Easter is looking retty good, it sat in the ground a long, long time.

Wife got the bean ground worked up, so only a few days to plant those, but the forcast keeps getting wetter, had over an inch over the weekend & today.

Tiny field of oats was planted May 5th or so, terrible late but it looks good and the cool wet weather is good for it so will be ok.

Wet & a bit frustrated, but far better than others. ;)

We got 1-1/2 inch of rain over the weekend, can't seem to go more than 5 days with out rain. I got 3/4 of my corn planted, too late for more because I doubt if it will dry out enough this week. Maybe 3/4 of the corn and sugar beets got planted in my area. Some guys have started on beans. I got no wheat planted. Guys who's fields are not tiled out to the max are screwed this year. There is going to be a lot of un planted acres this year, unless it stops raining for 3 weeks. Water level very high around my place.

Finshed corn last week.Waiting for fields to dry up ,then on to beans.Alfalfa gettin REAL thick,so that's next.Steele county.

Real soggy, but all things considered, not too bad. A little heat and sun and we'll be fine. Right now, water standing everywhere. One low ground field had over 4ft of water covering it by Sunday morning.
