By the handle of DCM could probably use some prayers , the town he lives in Slave Lake Alberta is on fire tonight.

news says 30% of the town is gone that they know off, maybe more by now, two roads leading outa town are blocked, they are telling folks to head for parking lots , water , green spaces to try and stay safe.

Forest fire started it all and they got real bad winds so they can,t fight it from the air with bombers, pretty grim situation.
 
I'm in Edmonton. The whole town of Slave Lake was evacuated last night. A guy came to check on our furnace today and said 1/2 the town burned including city hall. Not good! Hope anyone that lives there is safe. The wind has been really terrible here as well.
