darned dog ate my licorice!

I was out working in the shop on another rainy, dreary day snacking on strawberry twizzlers and feeling sorry for my aussie I would give him a little piece now and then. I went in for dinner and left a couple of drawers in the toolbox open. Came out to find the package empty and laying on the ground! Evidently he's smarter than he acts to climb up the drawers and get the licorice on top, he did leave me one piece! :)
 
had my dog eat 3/4 of a bag of wintergreen mints, she was haveing convulsions from that,..vet said she'd just have to wear it off...she pulled through OK,..they do get smart,..mine will jump through open car windows to see what people are hideing
 

That is funny. I once had a horse (paso fina) mare that was watching me do some work on the horse barn (shed). Well, I had a small sack of nails sitting there and she calmly walked over and picked up the bag and snatched it downward real hard and the nails went out the bottom. She calmly and contentedly ate the bag. I was like, What? That's alright, I got her back one winter day, as I was feeding her and the other hay burners in the big field, a nice 6 point buck stepped out of the woods into the field and I tried to get her to move but she wouldn't. She had her nose buried deep in the grain bucket. So, I did what any sensible redneck would do and just put my 30/30 over her back and let 'er rip. Scared the poop out of her and dropped the buck like a rock....lol. I always carried the rifle to feed the horses just in case because I had seen this before.

we had a st bernard years ago and at a bbq there were lots of little kids he would sneak behind them and suck the hotdog right out of thier buns without them knowing it i really miss my old jake!
