Trying to find out some info on an early 1900"s grain cleaner. It is quite large, and am unsure where a good starting point would be to figure out value, and possibly sell it. Located on ranch in NW Montana and also has the original manual. Any suggestions? Thank you~

google "AT Ferrel" They are still in buisness. They can probably give you some info, but you said you have a manual. They may give you other details. Have a couble of the small B2 fanning mills. Wooden one looks brand new and has the bagging elevator on it. the other is the metal B2 with the bagging elevator. Could you upload some more photos.

Is their a model number printed on the side of the machine?
It looks somewhat smaller than the model 47D that I use to clean my seed every year.

Yours appears to have the wooden link variable speed belt, that would put it before the 40's.
AT farrel still supplys parts for machines 100+ years old. They have been building grain cleaners since 1869.
They have a download section where you can download and print parts or operators manuals.

I am trying to determine the value of a No. 16 Clipper. Did you sell yours and would you be willing to share what it sold for?
