Well this morning I went out to use the wheeled weed eater and I broke the belt. So since I had to go to town for the rings for my sons truck any how I took what was left of the old belt. Well long story short after 3 tries I at least got a belt that will work, still not correct but at least next time I will know it is a 45 inch belt not a 44. Only trouble it has like it is, is that the trimmer part spins as long as the engine is running so no stopping it other then to kill the engine. Ya not real safe that way but I am the only person that uses it

I know what you mean old. I have a new shop open. Have ordered several parts only to find out they don't fit. Ordered two belts from an OEM. Didn't even come close to what I needed.

Yup, had that today. Hafta replace the carrier that holds the spare tire on my Ranger. Its a big pan affair, mine is all rusted out.
Went today and they had pulled just the spare tire winch...
So supposedly now I'm going to get the last 3 feet of a Ranger's frame and everything that attaches to it except the bed. Got a good price on that though.

Sort of funny you ask since while I was waiting for the computer to connect I took the top ring and tried it in one of the cylinders and end gap was correct this time and I already know they fit the piston so yep will probably be installing pistons tonight. Also have a special cam on order right now. Should give good low end and med. range torque and at higher speeds god MPG it is a 204/[email protected]

Oh one of the nice thing was that today the weather was nice enough that I got to do all 3 trips in and out of town 14 miles round trip on the motorcycle. 2nd time in I did have a small problem. Bike started to cut out on me about 2 miles from town. Had to flip the tank over to reserve to get in to town but hey I have not filled it up since last fall so guess it didn't do to bad

I just had 4 of them in a row.
Leaking shower in a $1M house. Someone had tried to fix it before and it didn't work. Opening walls, trying to match tile. Mud, plumb, tile, grout, paint.
Bathroom, for all it's pretentiousness, wasn't well built. They have a leaking shower valve too.
Fancy Grohe brand faucet. Crude tech support, gotta order parts from the distributer. No one calls you back for 3 days. Customer wants to know yesterday...
Arrrgh!
Finally got the Grohe parts ordered this afternoon. Two weeks. And $350 for a few orings and some seats!
Got about 35 hours in the darned job if I count emailing, internet, phone time plus a bunch of windshield time.
Feel like I can bill about 25 of that and still think I'm making a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
But I'm their last, best hope so I stuck with it.
Wont know if I succeded for a couple of years.
Next step for them is a $40K new bathroom.
I really do hope I did them some good.
There is No One there to bail me out.
Arse is hanging on the line.
And I sure do hope those parts are right.
Been Four of them 1 of those days...

Yep,
Same belt mine uses..(45")
Home Depot has them for between 5 and 6 bucks. I bought 3 last time I was there just in case. They're in the dept that sells swamp coolers, not in the lawn and garden dept.

and my boss, who happens to be my dad is somewhere in the middle of the ocean on a big azz boat wif my mom,

Sounds like you also have one of those Yard machine 22 inch string trimmers on wheels. I guess I can not complain to much I got the machine for the cost of the fuel to go get it and it was only 4 miles from me and so far 2 belts then first one I had in my belt pile so not to bad and I have had it 3 or 4 year if not longer
