Rural movie filmed in Mrs BD's home town opening June 3rd

Some movie which has met "critical acclaim" at the Toronto etc film festivals. Is opening June 3rd.
Filmed in and around Mrs B&D's home town & area.
I usually don't care for films the "critics" highly rate but I'm curious enough to see how much of Listowel can be recognized.
"Small Town Murder Song" or some title like that?

Guess I've officially entered "geezer-hood". If a film is "critically acclaimed", its a pretty sure bet that I'll hate it. And if its named "Small Town Murder Song", its a pretty sure bet that I'll hate it.

Guess I'll just keep watching "Cars" and "Finding Nemo" DVDs with my grandkids.
 
They filmed a movie( Sweet Land) about six years ago right outside of town and at two other locations. It was kind of hard to determine where they were some times but recognized most of it . I was just across the road one day while they were filming, putting up no hunting signs so if you hear and hammer blows in the movie it was probably me.
 
I always liked that Canadian movie "Tramp at the Door" that shows old time farming equipment working.
