1953 Ford Jubilee

Acquired a Jubilee with a JD loader. Runs great, most of the original parts on still intact. My brother and I will use it on his small farm. We have breed cows, pigs, chickens and turkeys.

I have done alot of research on this tractor and I am beginning to really appreciate its character. In just a few weeks it has completed some jobs which would have really taxed our backs to do by manpower alone.

Can I please get some general feedback on this tractor from those of you who know your stuff. Resources you trust would be good. Any inherent problems with this model? Anything to watch for or be careful about?

Appreciate any info you may wish to post.

Thanks,

Tolly

ive owned one for many many years, i use it dailey on the farm and to do commercial mowing occasionaly, jubilee is a good light duty chore tractor, easy to work on, parts are commonly available, if you push it hard you will find its main limit is horsepower, it has just so much and then your out and need a bigger tractor, if it has one thing to watch for at all its to make sure the rear axle nuts are touqued to 450 ft/lbs, this is crittical or you"ll ruin the rear hubs and axle splines by running it loose
