Not a fan of time changes. I can't wait to find out what I screwed up today at another staff meeting tomorrow. Two more months a long two months with moral at an all time low. Trying to help put together a festival that is in 18 days seem to be farther behind every day.

They said the last couple months of his reign would be hard..they weren't kidding.

Matt,

I might have seen it on here, so pardon me if I'm repeating something everyone knows.

I read a post somewhere recently that mentioned a BHNP who was a boss at work. One of his employees mentioned that he is a lot like the child's toy that is called a Slinky.

Slinkys don't accomplish anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs. Does that sound like your boss?

Good luck,

Tom in TN

Get up in the morning and give the work your best thoughts.

This too shall pass, but keep your eyes and ears open for a new opportunity - just in case that becomes a better alternative.

C'mon, Matt...you spent how many years and how many dollars on your degree? Too many to let one rear orifice of a boss change your mind, I'm sure. Just keep telling yourself you're tougher than him, you're better than him, and you know he's a short-timer who won't be part of your life in less than 2 months.

Then take a deep breath, do what you know to do, make sure you're doing the moral thing as well as what you've been assigned...and then don't look back. When you leave work for the day, leave the job at the office; don't bring it home with you.

Go to bed with a clear conscience, and sleep that way. Don't worry about tomorrow's work until tomorrow.
