Sometimes my 2wd Powerstroke is not sufficient, such as in muddy pastures and junkyards. I'm hoping my new toy with aid in vintage retreival as well as recreational fun. It does smell a tad like mice, but it has 50K miles on it. |

| i had me one of these back in the day, one stout truck, we gave it plenty of reason to fail working for a living, and it never did, i picked mine up cheap, 500 bucks and it was only 4 years old, some kid got it and decided he liked the pro-stock car look on a truck, ran big and little tires, wasnt smart enough to know you dont do that on a 4x4, busted both ring and pinions, i replaced them, drove the truck for years, sold it for 1500 in 85 or 86, i dont remember |

| Nice old truck, Have a 74 just like it. The only down fall with the early ones are the drum brakes in the front. I replaced mine with a 79 disk brake front end and added the (real) power steering to it that made it stop and drive like a whole different truck! No problems with a 36ft gooseneck trailer after that. Greg NE |

| looks pretty good for its age. When the motor gives out swap in a Cummins and OD and you'll be set. The early auto od Dodge transmission are easy to control with a handful of pipe fittings and a couple pressure switches. |
