old 10-18-2011 19:25:42 209.86.226.54 Report to Moderator	Big problem on these old Chev's is the fact they have the enclosed drive shafts and you can not just put in any 4 speed. I have 3 4 speeds on hand but all from later model trucks. I take that back I have 4 on hand maybe if the one is not a 5 speed not sure it is in a 1965 GMC school bus with the big block V-6 in it. Boy want me to use the 4 speed from and IH scout so he has the option down the road to turn his 1951 into a 4X4 [Reply]   [No Email]

The 1951 we have is next to impossible to shift gears in due to shifter wear [Reply]  [No Email]
