jim culliison 09-14-2011 16:34:21 64.134.169.108 Report to Moderator	Re: Scammed on tractor transport in reply to Rick(MN), 09-12-2011 14:00:08   damm i dont know what to say about all this. last year i hauled a army truck from arizona to indiana. than in the spring i hauled a beautiful farmall super c from indiana to phoenix. my wife is a paralegal and she booked the loads for me. i was just trying to get my dually up to chicago to pick up our trailer. i just charged them for fuel,that was it but my wife made them put a deposit down,due to scammers.i delv both loads in get shape,i hope the people i hauled for didnt think i was scamming them. jim [Reply]  [No Email]

The scammers are out there. Sometimes the scammers are the truckers, and sometimes the scammers are the folks who need the services of the trucker. If someone legitimately needs a tractor hauled, they shouldn't have a problem with paying a deposit up front, but they do owe it to themselves to make sure the trucker will honor that deposit and actually show up when promised. Likewise, if you are the trucker, you also need to do exactly what you said you would do. [Reply]  [No Email]
