raydex 234 01-23-2013 17:11:53 209.62.248.106 Report to Moderator	I got a 89 GMC 1 ton single rear wheel pickup. It has the Dana 60 rear end in it. I would like to put 2002 GMC aluminum rims on it. I have had them on there already but the rims hit the fins on the drums and do not allow it to tighten right. I tried cheap 1/4 inch spacers and that worked but I didn't think I had enough turns on the lug nuts. I was also worried that the cheap spacer might corrode or break. Has anyone used wheel adaptors or spacers on their tow vehicle? I was wondering how they hold up to heavy towing. Any comments welcome. Thanks. [Reply]   [No Email]

A cheap spacer will not work. You will need an expensive spacer that retains the hub pilot so the wheels will still be aligned. [Reply]  [No Email]
