I had a 99 ford V10. The motor was bulletproof. Tranney went out 3 days after i purchased it, $3,500 to replace it. No trouble after that. Lots of power and not bad mileage for a bigger gas engine. I got about 8 loaded and 10 - 12 just running around with it. I had trouble with balljoints going bad. I purchased the truck with 70,000 miles put them in right away and had to again at about 90,000 and sold the truck with 100,000.
