A week ago I got out of my truck early in the morning when it was cold. I tossed a black cap on the dash and left windows up. When I got back in 8 hours later it was very hot and where the cap was there was a milky haze that has not gone away. Just a warning about how just a little more than "greenhouse" heat can damage a windshield. |

| Now the question is how do you get it off??? Two options: Check and see what your cap is made of or soaked in or, #2, what the ingredients of your shampoo are.....I am guessing on #2, especially if you feel a little dazed, funny and can't remember s***, get's worse with age....lol... For real, if it is a new cap, wash it a few times to get "whatever" out (outgasing in warm/hot air), and it won't repeat itself..only real solution I got! I assume you don't have a new, new truck either, because the plastics and cloth material, rubber, etc. all gas out (new car smell) and might have reacted with the material/ingredients of the cap....Maybe you cleaned your windshield lately with a cleaner? Same possibility. |

Already checked it out. It is not on the surface. I expect it is damage to the plastic between the two layers of glass. |
