Braze Welding Yellow Brass

Since braze welding is the use of a bronze or brass filler rod coated with flux, there should be no
problem brazing yellow brass, right? Power washer has a problem....

You will get along a lot better with Silver solder. The brass base metal will melt at about the same temperature as the rod. When this happens it is no longer brazing. It is gas welding. Gas welding brass or bronze is a tough cat to tame. Good Luck.

I'm no brazing or welding expert by any stretch. That said, I did attempt it once and was successful. It was a small piece that was part of a mig welding gun setup. Basically a clamp of sorts. I was able to tighten it back down when done, so I'd say it worked.
