that is one thing on my list also, 30 years ago here we had one in the shop with a electric motor that was variable speed. would love to find one of them back. specking of shops I have ordered my 3 phase panel for my shop, when it comes in I plan to put my new equipment in place and get it running. starting to look for a 60 ton iron worker.

picked one up on ebay many years ago. Didn't have a specific need for it, but thought it was a good thing to have. It sat on the shelf for more than ten years before a guy asked me to make a special part that a rotary table would be ideally suited for. Paid me good money for making the part and brought me a sketch for 3 more which he has paid in advance. Some things take longer to work out than others.
