Bret, will the Husqvarna roller type guide work on the Stihl Chains, 3/8" and 0.325"? Thanks. Paul

But no the 3/8" and 0.325" chain are different.

Swedish file rollers as we call them can be gotten in both sizes. And a lot of times for less than $15 each.

If both saws have say 3/8" chain then yes a 3/8" file roller will work for both saw brands.

Like Mule said, they come in specific sizes for the chain. And, with Stihl chain, you will probably have to open up the sides of the guide that fits over the chain itself a little. Just take maybe 5 swipes with a flat file on one side and see if it fits down over the side links. Just try to take it off evenly and no more than is needed.
