Building Fence

I'm almost done. I have the last corner posts set. All I have to do is tension the posts, run a couple of rows of wire and attach the fence. I spliced/over-lapped several pieces of welded wire and chain link together with hog rings. Some I bought at auctions, some from private parties, and some I got for free. A friend gave me a brand new roll of hi-tensile; he saved me a lot. I've become intimate with my come-along and several other tools: post-hole digger, post driver, hammer, etc. I have two 10 foot gates, one I made and one BIL gave me. We run beagles two or three times a week and I have a quarter mile frontage on a busy road. The fence may not be pretty, but it will give us a lot of peace of mind. Got the wire-wounds to prove it.

'Wire-Wounds' Brings back memories of when I was over in Thailand during the war. We ran concertina wire around the perimeter. They already had it three times around the base, but wanted extra security. Didn't mind the wounds as long as their weren't snake bites to heal with them
