Having just changed oil & filters on my backhoe I have several gallons of nice clean oil. Looking for suggestions on how to use this oil for other uses. I now use some for treating wood/posts- How do you use your used hydraulic oil? Thanks

The place where you bought your new oil should accept your used oil. They in turn sell it and it likely gets burned to generate electricity or heat.

Several gallons of NICE CLEAN OIL? As in, new oil?

Why not keep it around and use it for top-offs, or the next oil change?

NEVER throw away new oil just because it's leftover. You don't *have* to do something with it *right now*. It will keep. It doesn't go bad.

New looking oil that has 1000 hours on it,at $10 a gallon just looking for a good way to make use of it. Its too thin for chainsaw bar oil.Looks very similar to log oil used for decks/log homes but does not dry out as well. Thanks for your input.

I used mine and used motor oil to coat wood decks on hay wagons.

I give mine to a guy who heats his shop with waste oil. Everyone is happy.
