I need a spindle pulley for an old craftsman drill press I was given. It is a stepped variable pulley 4 sheave, 5, 5, 3, and 2 inch. The original is a browning SCZ3.Sears parts lists this pulley as NLA, and google searches cannot locate a place to actually BUY the thing! Does anybody have a source for this pulley? |

| Are you missing the pulley? Or is it damaged or wore out? Is the center splined? |

| You might consider having the center of your old pulley bored out and sleeved. |

| I looked all over for the same pulley with no success. I started looking for a parts drill press and found a very good drill press for less than the cost of a pulley. The seller told me that he had it in a garage sale but no one wanted that old stuff anymore. |

| Browning is still in business. Contact a local bearing supply house, or a national supplier: McMaster-Carr, Motion Industries, etc. Measure your old pulley diameters, belt profile and shaft size, you should be able to find a replacement. |

Google McMaster Carr and search for 'Step-Cone V-Belt Pulleys'. They have 4-groove pulleys about halfway down the page. Hope this helps. BTW, I've ordered stuff from them and usually get it the next day. |

| If you have a belt and bearing supply store near you they might be able to order one that would work. |
