Some people love those old Levermatics, but from personal experience I'll never own another.The Marlin I love is the Marlin 882SS in .22WMR. One of the first guns I bought brand new, nice heavy magazine that locks perfectly into place (not like the flimsy feel of the Savage 93) and very accurate. Put a little 3X9X32 scope on it and dialed it once and its only needed tiny adjustments in the last 15 years. If I do my part a nickle will cover the 7 holes at 50 yards.
