I used to buy my media from a local sandblasting company in bulk , but they decided to stop selling it to the public . Then to owner of that firm said to buy childs play sand in bags at local lumber suppliers or Wall mart or Home Depot . Its only 2-3.00 per bag & it works quite well for my needs . I get a lot of blasting projects done from each bag . When it seems to just make a lot of dust , its time to dump it & refill with a new bag . Then I use the sand I just dumped in my small portable gravity feed blasting tub until its gone . My thoughts are to get the most out of a bag of sand (waste not) . HTH ! God bless, Ken
