It is like a Kobalt compact reciprocating saw, with a chuck that couples to a hex shaft for attachments. It can saw, file, brush (wire and nylon) and some other attachments. The tool is $69 and attachments are extra. Film clip says that it is only available at Lowes. Wonder how long before it will appear in Harbor Freight stores in a different configuration.

I like tools with cord or batteries, but don't know if it would be worth it for the little amount of filing that I do. I already have a reciprocating saw.

Funny thing is they had a tool for a while that fit any make sawsall and would work as a powered chisel. It had several different chisel shapes that would chuck in where the blade goes.

When this new Kobalt tool came out, the other display disappeared.

I would think that trying to make a chisel out of a sawsall would beat the sawsall to pieces in a very short time, especially a cheap one. Too much plastic.

That rig that fits in the sawzall might not be at Lowes, but it's available in other places.
