I have never have liked the flat faced "skid steer" hydraulic quick couplers. I have one heck of a time attaching them, they leak, have had no luck resealing them and are real expensive to replace. Was told I cannot use standard ISO couplers due to flow?? I do not have a hi-flow machine and only use them for my grapple bucket. Is there any reason I cannot switch it over to ISO couplers? |

| I find the flats the easiest to use. Have them on my backhoe and skidsteer. No leaks at all. |

| | Standard 1/2" ISO couplers are rated for mabey 16 gpm maximum. As long as you're not exceeding that you'll be fine. That's all I use. Unfortunately.... they leak even more than the flat face. I just use the ISO for compatiability with all of my farm impliments tho. Rod |

| Me too- traded skidloaders last year to get the U-plate for attachments, more hp, etc. I hate those flat couplers. I see no reason why you can"t go back to the old standard ones. Standards were larger than Pioneer ISO, but worked the same. I always have trouble with one of the flats, even after releasing pressure with the foot pedal. Plus, those flats cost more! |
