How much would a Van Norman 777 boring bar with Sucker-Outer and complete tooling be worth?

If you find bars to be boring try going to a lounge. Usually a little more class.

Neither MSC nor ENCO sells the type of boring bar he is talking about. He is talking about an engine boring bar.

Bought my 777 for 250 , 25 years ago . Being
that van norman no longer owns the parts or
service ,now belongs to kansas instument and
parts are sometimes available , I think the
price has dropped.

If you want a good portable bar , get a kwik-
way . Much better bar ,tool lifts the chip
rather than scraping it off and therefore does
not fracture the surface any where naer as bad.
Also bar is strong enough to support itself
with out using follower "paws" down the cylinder.
777 bar is no where near long enough to bore a
JD block.

I have both kinds , would not ever buy another
van norman bar.
