Got this wek off. We had one day vacation, the rest of the time we have been busy.

What do you do with the banana peppers? Just grill them then freeze them? Then how do you serve them? Just curious as I am just starting to grow banana peppers.
 
So far I am at 100+ quarts of Green Beans, & about 50 ears of corn! I didnt take any time off either. In the next day, or so i'll begin with what I think will be several pints of tomatoes. & yep i'm tired too!

Hey Guido, Since you had the grill out and all you could of invited us over for steaks! I grill zucchini with my steaks and have them with a side of chopped tomatoes.

After they are grilled, they are pealed and the seads are removed. Then frozen whole.
We serve them as a cold dish, and cut the size of a fat noodle the lenght of the pepper. It is served a side dish, garnished with garlic powder, sea salt, and olive oil. You can also add garlic slices to taste. We also serve them with mozzarella mini ball with the same condiments.

WE have done 4 bushells of sweet corn 20 quarts of pickle relish 20 quarts of dill pickles and 99 pints of peaches we still have beets and pears to do and we freexe onions peppers green beans as they are ready in the garden. it is about the only good thing I can say about being compleatly disabled from the military at least I can save on grocerys and spend time witht the FIL
 
With 8 chidren our pantry is filling up nicely around 150 jars.1 freezer 15 cubic ft full of vegies.Corn and tomatoes are just starting to rippen so the girls will be workin a little longer before they get a well deserved break.
 
We made nine pints of peach salsa yesterday. Never made it before but it turned out real tasty and used up the peaches that were too ugly to eat if you saw them.
