| i went inside the camper and the company hooked a brown wire(running light) to the brake wire so i took a safety pin jabbed the tail light wire- (yellow) and got the tail light to work.(with the brown wire) BUT when i put the brake light on it only lit 1 side of the bulb.& only 1 side of the trailer lit ---thank you for your reply --i think i'll have to find somebody to fix it- because i have a dead wire

| | I will give it a try here. If your tail light has one bulb with two filimants. And only two wires coming out of the fixture. One of the wires will be for the turn/Brake and the other for the Running light. It will ground through the framework of the light. Only exception would be 3 wires (ground, tail, turn/stop.) it would not matter which color they are. If they have a 3rd ground wire it will run to the case of the light fixture. If this doens't help Perhaps if you could post a picture of your fixture and the wires it would help someone to easier help you. A name of the light fixture could help too. Here is a link that might help you find a fixture if you need it. The trailer co. Northstar Had to have bought it from some other company. |
