Husky generator??

Has anybody ever heard or seen a Husky brand generator?? Who makes them or are the chinese junk? It"s got a 10 hp subura motor(know nothing about them either), 5000 watts, 6250 surge, runs 11 hours @ %50 load on a 6 gallon tank, $575. Seems like a great deal, really to good....

I was thinking Tractor Supply, but I just Googled "Husky" and came up with Husky pressure washers and Home Depot handles them.

Husky is just a brand label for some company. I was thinking TSC or it could be Orsheln or someone. Just like any of those stores and companies, Husky is just a name label stuck on some mass produced merchandise (and probably chinese).

When you see all of them using the same 5000 watt/6250 watt surge generators then you know that just like mowers, the same company/ies are building them and just offer a diffent choice of engine and gas tank size.

I have a Husky Generator that is about six years old and spends most of its time out side and a 32 ton log splitter that is eight years old and they work well. The olny issue what the weather dose to them but that wont change until I get more indoor storage. I would not hesitate to buy there stuff.

husky is sold by homedepot. We have an air compressor made by husky that has been through hell and back and it's still going.

Huskee is probably the chinese knockoff name for Husky. They never can spell things right. A search of the TSC website show 221 results for Huskee from mowers on down. Orscheln puts a Clarke label on their chinese stuff.
