I have a very nice B&S #2 universal mill and I am in need of some tooling to hold drill bits and end mills. The taper must be a B&S #10. Currently I am using a 5/8 drawbar, but could change this. I have the 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" holders. I have inquired at HGR and Ohio Machinery. I live Northwest of Pittsburgh, Pa, but am willing to travel anywhere. Willing to purchase from an individual or company. Thank you for any leads or tips on this matter.
 
Hi 88-1175, I have an idea mind you it might not work but it's worth a shot! Call blue Ridge Machinery and Tools 1-800-872-6500 (www.blueridgemachinery.com) Maybe just Maybe they might be able to point you in the right direction. You never know they might be of some help. All the best Woody.
 
Check with MSC also. large tool supplier. If they don' have it find an older shop and ask who some of their suppliers are. Sometimes a small well established company will have people working for them that knows how to get things that are alittle odd or hard to come by.
 
MSC has a catalog about the size of the old Sears
catalogs...but twice as thick. You can find just
about anything there.
 
try E-bay under buisness industrial / then click on metal working tooling (new screen) click on equipment specific tooling ( new screen)click on mill or tool holding give that a try you may find something

In the 80's and 90's it seemed like quite at few machine shops went out of business. I could find real good deals without traveling to far. These smaller companies are gone and the auctions I used to go to are few and far between.
 
Try;Grand Tool 650 rt 46 Teterboro,Nj 07608 tel 201 288 4070.I know they have B&S #7 but they are 35 bucks each.If you go there from west Rt 46 you can see the new block in the building where the plane crashed through.Keep your head down by the airport.LOL Also maybe used at Sobel Machinery Closter NJ I gotta go Will find number for Sobel later.
