I've done a few minor things (new plug & wire, cleaned gas tank, cleaned exterior of gunk)and bought some stuff from 'Hit-N-Miss' (tank lid, muffler, handle return spring and decals). A man told me at a show one time his dad always said those engines were the only ones he ever saw that there could be nothing wrong with them and they would not start. I have had 3 and still have 2 and can agree with that statement. when you cut it off kill the ignition instead of cutting the fuel off. They are good dependable engines but once in awhile can be a PIA. [Reply]  [No Email]

The manual says to turn off the fuel. Suggestions? It has always worked with shutting off the fuel and started with 1 turn open, then fine tune. Might have simply flooded it - we'll see. Thanks.
