Well, some...the XA was a fairly popular engine, and IH also used them in some trucks, along with the XAH, a larger version (I think, without looking anything up). I believe the 226C is a works code for original eqpmt (carb, ign, clutch etc). Manuals often show up on EBay; you can also get them from the Wauk Eng Hist Soc (wehs.me.com) and they may have factory records of your engine, but no parts. They"re all volunteer so may not reply immediately. For parts info I"d suggest posting on oldihc.com, an IH truck site, and running the archives there, where you"ll find other XA/XAH owners, and any other old IH site (redpower??). Good luck. |
