I need some info on Clinton parts. I have a Clinton engine, model 702ABR6. Have a reproduction manual for it, which has a parts list. I am wanting to replace the crankshaft and found a new one on e-bay, part #46-226. The number in my manual calls for part #3803. I think the longer number is a new series of numbers, but the photo looks correct. The guy with the part can't cross it over. Can anyone here help me out? Good Luck and God Bless |

| Upon checking further, I find I do have a parts cat for your engine 702ABR6 and it does call for crankshaft 3803 (46-551). The crankshaft number 46-226 fits a model B1290-498 series engine so I don't think it would work for you. |

| I don't have a parts list for your engine but crankshaft part number 46-226 is the new number for old part number 12119. I find 3803 is the old part number for 46-551 your crank looks to have 3 steps on the pto end. The other one is straight except for the smaller dia. for the 11 teeth for the gear reduction. I'd be wary of the replacement. Good luck. |
