wsmm 07-19-2010 21:44:49 64.113.44.178 Report to Moderator	Looking to find a repair manual or someone who can give me some information on adjusting the carburetor and governor. Had to take the carb apart to clean it as the engine wouldn't start. Now I'm battaling it to get it to run smooth. I also think something maybe wrong with the governor linkage or the way it's connected, but can't tell as I don"t have a manual. Need to get it running smooth and at the right rpm as voltage output is controlled by engine speed and not a voltage regulator. Thanks, Bill [Reply]   [No Email]

Plug the Kill-A-Watt into your generator and set the engines RPM to about 62 HZ unloaded. Put a load on the generator, A electric bath room heater works good. With the load on the generator adjust the main jet on the carb. for the smoothest running of the engine. Idle mixture is not much of a concern on a generator engine. Kent [Reply]  [No Email]
