Continental engine electric choke?

I will try posting this over here. I have a Continental F-140 engine on a combine, and it has a solenoid hooked up to open and close the choke. It is 6V. I need a new one. Anybody know where one could be found? I took the one apart that is on it and it looks like an electromagnet and a butterfly on a shaft, but everything inside is so far trashed it's hard to figure out what went where.

looks very much like the electric automatic choke unit that was on 50's models, 6 cyl chrysler products. Might be worth a look.

Those were also used on Kohler light plant. I do not think you can find them anymore. Try finding a pull type 12 volt soleniod and rig something up.

That setup is called an "electric divorced choke".

Check out the link below. May be 12-Volt only though. Call them to see if they can help with 6-Volt. I'll take a look through some information I have, and post back if I find something definitely 6-Volt.
